Job Description

My client, a well-established and highly respected civil engineering firm, is seeking a Transportation Project Manager to join their growing Illinois team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to step into a leadership role and work on impactful transportation and infrastructure projects. About the Opportunity Join a firm with nearly 80 years of industry success and a reputation as a Top 5 civil engineering organization Work alongside a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team serving 500+ clients, primarily across municipal, IDOT, and tollway projects Be part of a people-first, employee-owned organization that invests heavily in career growth and long-term development What You'll Do Lead and manage the development of transportation engineering plans and specifications using IDOT standards Oversee and deliver Phase I & II IDOT and Local Agency projects Work across a variety of project types including: Roadway design, Drainage and underground utilities, Traffic and infrastructure improvements Support municipal, county, and state clients across Illinois Contribute to proposals, client presentations, and business development efforts (as desired) What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) 5+ years of experience with IDOT or Local Agency Phase II design Familiarity with MicroStation / OpenRoads Designer and IDOT workflows Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate within a team-focused environment Get job alerts Share Copied to clipboard Related roles Water/ Wastewater Project Manager•Gresham, OR
