POSITION SUMMARY
The Vice President, Chief Medical Officer, Community Health Services (CHS), provides clinical leadership in partnership with the CHS President and the clinical Medical Directors. The Vice President, Chief Medical Officer, CHS serves as member of the CHS Senior Leadership Team, ensuring the delivery of patient-centered, high-quality, high-value care and directly overseeing provider clinical performance. The Vice President, Chief Medical Officer, CHS sets and advances the Medical Group's clinical vision, driving standards, accountability, and medical oversight to support affordable, high-quality care. The Vice President, Chief Medical Officer, CHS's key responsibilities include recommending, developing, and implementing innovative clinical programs—particularly in population health and value-based care—in collaboration with partners across CHS and the integrated delivery network (IDN). The Vice President, Chief Medical Officer, CHS also supports provider recruitment, retention, and clinical leadership development, and serves as a liaison to hospital CMOs and Service Line Clinical Leaders. The Vice President, Chief Medical Officer, CHS serves as chair for designated CHS committees. The Vice President, Chief Medical Officer, CHS reports to the CHS President with matrixed relationships to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) and direct reports include the Medical Directors.PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Establishes and maintains positive, effective communication and interpersonal relationships with HFMG Physicians, APPs, associates, HFMG Managers, and IDN leadership. Leads and motivates all HFMG Providers to meet and maintain a high standard of professionalism. Assists the Community Health Services President and Chief Operating Officer, in determining priorities to meet the changing demands of CHS through effective planning, implementation and evaluation of entity line goals and objectives. Leads CHS providers to deliver efficient, effective care across the continuum. Identifies and advances growth opportunities and performance improvements aligned to organizational objectives. Defines and monitors programs, metrics, and KPIs to demonstrate performance and support success in value-based agreements. Develops and implements initiatives that improve patient care, quality, and service, while enabling clinicians and staff to work at the appropriate level within team-based care. Supports the development and standardization of roles and functions for Advanced Practice Professionals (APP). Provides oversight and accountability for the clinical performance of Community Health Services. Acts as the escalation point for CHS provider issues and works in conjunction with Medical Directors, and appropriate leadership to effectively resolve issues. Contributes to the development of workflows to maximize efficiency of providers and the clinical optimization of Epic and other technology. Exhibits awareness and participation in the financial performance of CHS, including forecasting, capital plans, and financial reporting in coordination with the CFO and Senior Leadership of CHS. Serves as a foundational role in recruitment of the highest quality physicians and APPs assisting with new provider onboarding and mentoring. Collaborates with Marketing; the development and growth of physicians and programs; and Medical Directors, Operations, and Revenue Cycle to educate to ensure compliance with documentation necessary for reimbursement and regulatory compliance.LEADERSHIP ACCOUNTABILITIES

Education:
Any one of the following: Doctorate's degree in Medicine (MD) OR Doctorate's degree in Osteopathic Medicine (DO).Work Experience:
Ten (10) years of experience in clinical practice.Licensure:
Active unrestricted Medical License in the State of Florida.Certification:

Experience as a Chief Medical Officer or senior clinical leadership role in a large Integrated Medical Group.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Physically agile; may require walking, standing, running, bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, or crouching frequently. May occasionally include lifting or moving objects up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance. May require moving in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces, including reaching out and above shoulders, or overhead. May lift, turn, pull, push, or ambulate people and/or equipment with or without assistance up to 90% of the assigned shift. May be exposed to inside and outside environments with varied temperatures, air quality, lighting, and/or low to loud noise. May require working with biohazards such as blood/body fluids and airborne particles following OSHA and CDC guidelines. Communicating with others to exchange information. Visual acuity and hand-eye coordination to perform tasks. Workspace may vary from open to confined.
