Job Description

Overview Appilcants must possess effective communication skills and critical thinking. A willingness to interact within the community, and build a good working relationship with other local law enforcement agencies. Be willing to do shift work. Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance community safety, crime reduction, and emergency response capabilities. Oversee criminal investigations with precision and thoroughness, ensuring accurate report writing and case management. Manage daily operations including patrols and law enforcement activities to maintain order. Coordinate with other emergency services, government agencies, and community organizations to address public safety concerns effectively. Ensure compliance with all legal standards, Promote ongoing training in areas such as first aid, CPR, conflict management, animal handling, security procedures, and law enforcement techniques to keep skills sharp. Foster positive relationships within the community through outreach programs and transparent communication strategies. Qualifications Proven leadership experience in law enforcement or military service with a strong record of managing teams effectively. Extensive knowledge of criminal investigation techniques, report writing standards, surveillance methods, and security protocols. Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations with confidence in conflict management and animal handling when necessary. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate departmental vehicles safely at all times. Certifications in first aid, CPR, surveillance techniques, and other relevant areas are highly desirable. Strong understanding of immigration law enforcement procedures where applicable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and engage positively with diverse communities. Physical fitness to perform patrol duties that may include standing for long periods or responding swiftly to emergencies.
