IMPORTANT

The primary purpose of this position is to serve To serve as personnel systems administrator and technical specialist for the Military Personnel Flight's (MPF) various technical management and process improvement solutions and various Information Technology (IT)/Information System (IS) computer systems and software.
Qualifications:
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management, https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=Group-Standards
GENERAL EXPERIENCE
: Applicants must have at least 3 years general experience, 1 year of which is equivalent to Federal experience at the next lower grade (GS-04), level, pay band (NH-01), or equivalent (pay schedule, pay band, etc.).
NOTE:
Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.
OR EDUCATION
Applicant must have successfully completed 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position.

OR COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Applicant must have a combination of general experience and education listed above in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, that when combined equals 100% of the qualification's requirement.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
(KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1. Knowledge of military personnel policies, procedures, rules, guidelines, publications. 2. Knowledge of the principles, concepts, techniques, standards, processes, and guides of personnel management and ability to relate to personnel systems. 3. Skills in analyzing issues and formulating solutions to issues that often have General/Flag Officer, Material Leader, or other very high visibility. 4. Skills to plan and organize work to meet program objectives and mission needs. 5. Ability to gather facts and use effective analytical and evaluative methods to accurately assess information and make sound decisions. 6. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of individuals, both orally and in writing. ???????
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE
: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE
: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
