Child and Adolescent Therapist

SUMMARY:

Under the general direction of the Clinical Supervisor, is responsible for providing a range of therapeutic services to youth and families requiring mental health and behavioral health services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide intake, assessment, safety planning, case management, transition, and discharge planning to participants. Identify, develop, and implement individual service plans that specify goals, objectives, and measurable outcomes. Provide clinical services to clients and families. Deliver individual, family, and group therapy to participants and their families. Coordinate with external agencies, schools, and community resources to ensure comprehensive care for participants. Coordinate with care coordinators, providing progress reports and recommendations for discharge planning or continuation of treatment. Participate in all IEP and treatment planning conferences as requested.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

1. MSW or graduate degree in related field. 2. Two years experience of direct practice in individual, group, and family counseling.
