Child Care Assist

A Child Care Assistant supports lead teachers and caregivers in providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. They help supervise daily activities, assist with meals and hygiene, and encourage children's social and emotional development. Responsibilities Age group of children (infants, toddlers, preschool, etc.) Supervise and monitor children during indoor and outdoor activities Assist with classroom activities, playtime, and learning exercises Help prepare and serve meals and snacks Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment Assist children with personal hygiene, including handwashing and restroom routines Support children's emotional and social development through positive interaction Communicate respectfully with parents and staff Follow all safety, health, and child care regulations Schedule Part-time position Hours vary between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM Work schedule is posted one week in advance
