Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support the development and well-being of young children by assisting lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a love of learning while ensuring each child's individual needs are met. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives through hands-on teaching, mentorship, and classroom management. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote literacy, math skills, and social-emotional development Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment conducive to learning Engage with children through play, conversation, and educational exercises tailored to their developmental stages Help monitor and document individual progress, including behavior management and developmental milestones Collaborate with team members to adapt lessons for children with disabilities or special needs, including autism spectrum disorder Support early childhood education principles such as Montessori methods or other specialized curricula as needed Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community atmosphere Skills Strong understanding of childhood development and early childhood education best practices Experience working with children in classroom settings or childcare environments Knowledge of special education strategies and working with individuals with disabilities or autism Excellent communication skills for mentoring, tutoring, and collaborating with colleagues and families Classroom management skills to maintain an organized and positive learning environment Ability to proofread educational materials and assist in literacy education activities Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom experience in private school or Montessori settings is a plus Join us in shaping bright futures!
