Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all aspects of classroom activities, ensuring they align with developmental standards and curriculum goals Lead, train, and support staff members in delivering high-quality care, emphasizing classroom management and behavior management strategies Maintain compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and emergency response plans Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs that promote childhood development, early childhood education, and preschool readiness Foster strong relationships with families through regular communication, updates on child progress, and addressing concerns promptly Oversee daily operations such as enrollment processes, scheduling, record keeping, and maintaining a clean, safe environment for children Ensure staff are trained in working with individuals with disabilities and special education needs to promote inclusive caregiving practices Requirements Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or classroom settings with strong classroom experience in early childhood education Demonstrated leadership skills in managing caregiving teams or classroom staff within a childcare or educational environment Knowledge of childhood development principles, infant care techniques, toddler care practices, and behavior management strategies Certifications in first aid and CPR are required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are highly desirable Familiarity with licensing requirements for daycare centers and experience maintaining compliance standards Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, staff, and community partners Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude Join us as a Child Care Director to lead a vibrant team dedicated to nurturing young minds!
