Job Description

Substitute teachers provide direct child care and early education services as part of a classroom teaching team. Substitutes are expected to maintain a positive, supportive, warm, and child-centered learning environment. Substitutes work as part of a teaching team to provide appropriate classroom daily structure, programming, and materials relevant to the children's skills, interests, and developmental stages.
