Child Care Teacher

Job Overview:

We are hiring dedicated Childcare Providers to join our team and provide exceptional care and education to children in our church during the week, in the evenings, Mon. Weds. Thurs. and/or Sunday morning on a rotation schedule. As a Childcare Provider, you will play a crucial role in nurturing and guiding young minds in a safe and stimulating environment. Leading a Christlike example, through, words and actions.

Duties:

• Create a safe and supportive environment for preschool age children
• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities
• Supervise children during playtime and educational activities
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress
• Ensure the well-being and safety of all children in your care
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding if applicable.
• assisting with diapering and restroom if applicable.

Requirements:

• Experience in childcare of preschool age children
• Knowledge of childhood development principles
• Ability to engage children in educational and recreational activities, prepared lesson plans.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques
