Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in our care. This role involves engaging with children in educational activities, promoting their social and emotional development, and ensuring their overall well-being. The Child Care Teacher will work closely with parents and staff to support each child's growth and learning. Duties Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood education principles. Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and educational activities. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration. Monitor children's progress and development, providing feedback to parents as necessary. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment. Administer first aid as needed and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall childcare program. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Skills Strong understanding of childhood development principles. Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, nannying, or educational environments. Proficient in classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning atmosphere. Knowledge of infant care practices is a plus. Ability to educate children through creative play, structured activities, and hands-on learning experiences. Certification in First Aid is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification is essential. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. A nurturing attitude combined with patience and enthusiasm for working with young children.
