Opportunity Overview Position Detail Information Job Title Child Care Teacher Part Time Location Tremonton, UT Shift 1st Hourly Wage Range $14.00 per hour minimum Shift Premium None Job Summary The Child Care Teacher you will have the opportunity to work in a day care setting where you will contribute to a safe, fun, learning environment for the children of West Liberty Foods team members. The Child Care Teachers are responsible for the care and safety of all children. Teachers attend to the children's basic needs, organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, storytelling and field trips. Teachers will also establish and enforce rules for behavior, and procedures for maintaining order as well as prepare materials and classroom activities. Key Responsibilities Teaching children, instructing, reading, singing, preschool activities, and caring for children's needs. Monitoring and observing children. Supervising activities and play. Ensuring safety of all children. Monitoring classrooms and the environment for the safety of all children. Discipline or redirect children as needed. Cleaning the learning area. Cooking, prepping snacks and preparing bottles. Hygiene responsibilities may include changing diapers, changing soiled clothes, assisting with cleaning faces and hands. Assisting with bathroom needs. Communicating with parents and other team members. School run driver as needed. Prep for activities. Prepare bulletin boards. All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Job Requirements Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related role is preferred.Age:
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.Authorization:
Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorships are available.Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.Physical:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.Schedule:
Operating hours are 4:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Monday through Friday. Shifts will vary within that time frame.Skills:
CPR, First Aid and Food Handlers certifications are preferred but are required after employment. West Liberty Foods will provide the training to acquire these certifications after employment begins. Must be dependable and be able to work well with others. Must be able to speak English.Flexibility:
Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment of continuous change and challenges.Compliance:
Must practice good personal hygiene. Candidates must successfully pass a post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen, physical and E-Verify.
