Duties Provide attentive care and supervision to children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development and learning. Support children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices. Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation and social skills among children. Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary. Collaborate with team members to monitor each child's progress and communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's development. Assist in classroom organization, material preparation, and maintaining documentation related to childcare activities. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, classroom environments is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; ongoing training is supported. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Strong skills in behavior management and creating inclusive learning spaces for all children. Ability to engage children through nurturing interactions while maintaining professionalism and patience. Relevant qualifications include early childhood education coursework or certifications; classroom experience is advantageous.
