Responsibilities Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote literacy education, early intervention, and childhood development across all classroom settings. Implement curriculum development strategies that support individual learning styles and developmental milestones. Manage classroom environments effectively through classroom management techniques, behavior management strategies, and lesson planning. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless coverage of all age groups, providing consistent care and instruction. Support children's social-emotional well-being by fostering positive behavior management and child welfare practices. Assist in the preparation of educational materials and adapt lesson plans for diverse learners, including those requiring special education or early intervention services. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to classroom experience or development. Skills Extensive experience working with children across various age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education tailored for early childhood education settings. Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention programs, and Montessori or other educational philosophies like preschool experience or daycare environments. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners effectively. Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments while maintaining high standards of childcare and classroom experience. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood education and tutoring practices in physical education or math when applicable.
