Job Description

Position Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a church that is poised for growth. Our DNA has been to have a strong emphasis on outreach and serving others. In the last year and a half, we have shifted many leadership positions and are working on stabilizing so that we can continue to reach outside of ourselves to the people and communities around us. The Youth and Children s Pastor will work closely with the Lead Pastor and other leaders to shepherd the congregation and fulfill the church s vision. While the role may evolve with the needs of the church, it will primarily focus on overseeing children s and youth ministries.
Key Responsibilities:
Children and Youth Ministry :
Lead and develop dynamic programs for children and youth, ensuring they grow in their faith and are actively engaged in the church community.
Outreach and Evangelism:
Take an active role in outreach efforts, both locally and globally, in line with our church s commitment to evangelism and planting new churches.
New Ministry Development:
Identify new areas of ministry to serve the church and community, aligning with our mission to make disciples.
Congregational Care:
Assis the Lead Pastor in shepherding the congregation, including pastoral care, counseling, and visitation.
Team Collaboration:
Work as part of a ministry team, contributing to leadership and decision-making, and providing support in a variety of other areas as needed.
Qualifications:

Outreach:
A passion for reaching the lost and expanding God s kingdom through personal relationships and ministry initiatives.
Theological Alignment:
Agreement with the Articles of Faith and Practice of the Missionary Church. Willingness to
Pursue and Complete Credentialing:
Must be willing to complete the licensing and ordination process through the Missionary Church (if not already credentialed).
Experience:
Previous experience in pastoral ministry, particularly in children s or youth ministry, is preferred.
Flexibility:
Ability to adapt to the needs of a small church and serve in various roles as the church grows and changes.
Compensation:
