River Kids Ministry:

Our mission s statement is Engaging Kids in a Lifetime of Faith. We believe that children are never too young to receive God s Word. Our River Kid s services are engaging for every age group. Pastor Position:

We are looking for a Spirit Filled person that feels called to full time ministry, who is highly energetic and loves kids. The Kids Pastor will provide Godly leadership in developing, implementing, administering and shepherding a comprehensive Kids Ministry. They will strive to develop themselves and others to be followers of Jesus Christ in accordance with God s Word, River of Life Vision and Core Values. The candidate must be able to provide spiritual direction and pastoral care to the staff and volunteers of the Kids Ministry, as they minister to children and their families. Work alongside the others on staff to ensure church vision is carried through to Kids Ministry and help facilitate a smooth transition to youth.

Experience:

High School Diploma is required: College degree is encouraged Organized; flexible; ability to multi-task Exemplary oral and written skills Formal Ministry Training at either Seminary or Bible School/College 1-3 years in prior ministry experience or willing to train graduate in Children's Ministry Certified, Licensed, Ordained or actively pursuing ministerial credentials Personal Profile Has a deep and growing personal relationship with the Lord. Demonstrates spiritual and moral character with a lifestyle that is consistent with the spiritual qualifications. Agrees with River of Life s statement of faith. Committed to moral purity and, if married, to a healthy relationship with spouse and family. Falls in love with River of Life and committed to the vision and direction of the church. Willing to submit to the direction, guidance and vision of those in leadership. Ensure integrity and responsibility in all areas of ministry. Responsibilities Clearly communicate and execute the vision and direction ensuring it aligns with the overall vision of the church. Be the primary communicator in a team style teaching for kids services on Sunday mornings (8am, 9:30am, 11am). Sermon, live worship and fill-in the blanks are a part of regular weekly services. Safety is our highest priority in everything we do. This includes systems, training, background checks, and consistent enforcement of all safety protocols. Always be recruiting, resourcing, equipping, training and growing a volunteer team. Delegate authority over tasks. To serve the church family by ministering prayer, counseling, teaching and other aspects of building and equipping believers. Be present and engaged on weekends and in key church events. Regularly report to the Senior Pastor with accountability, encouragement, planning and personal development. Manage the budget for River Kids Ministry. Engage! Build relationships with schools, families, and community organizations.
