Chiropractic Technician / Assistant

Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist with the intake process, including collecting medical histories and verifying insurance information Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring cleanliness, organization, and proper setup of chiropractic equipment and X-ray machines when needed Support chiropractors during procedures by handing instruments, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort throughout treatments Maintain accurate documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, including ICD coding, medication administration records, and patient notes Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering patient inquiries, and managing patient flow efficiently Support clinic operations by adhering to safety protocols, including basic life support procedures and infection control measures Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to chiropractic care and general healthcare settings Experience or familiarity with hospital medicine, urgent care environments, or outpatient clinics is highly valued Ability to operate X-ray equipment safely and accurately; familiarity with radiology procedures is a plus Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations including geriatrics and inpatient settings Proficiency in medical administrative support tasks such as intake processing, scheduling, and maintaining detailed records in EHR systems Knowledge of ICD coding for accurate documentation of diagnoses and treatments Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments such as Level I Trauma Centers or Level II trauma centers; experience in emergency medicine or hospital settings is advantageous This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive healthcare environment dedicated to improving patient outcomes.
