Civil Drafter

H.F. Lenz Engineering is seeking a qualified candidate for a Civil Drafter to come join our team ‎in Johnstown, PA .‎ The candidate will provide engineering design and drafting support for various civil site development projects ‎from conceptual drawings to construction documents. This role will utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create existing ‎conditions backgrounds and 3D surfaces from survey points, aerial mapping and reference drawings. Projects ‎will include commercial, industrial, municipal, historic, healthcare, educational and athletic facilities. Day Responsibilites:

Set up drawing packages for site development projects. Design site development projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D in accordance with client standards; Research and review deeds, ordinances, field notes, municipal, state and federal codes to ensure compliance; Collaborate with Civil engineers and design staff to address challenges and plan revisions.
