Job Overview Join our family feel team as a Class A CDL driver. Whether you would like to stay in a quad dump full time, operate a stone slinger truck, vac truck, or tractor trailer, we have the variety for the individual that likes something different and quads for those that prefer just one truck! Autos and manual transmissions. At a minimum, you would need to load yourself sometimes, willingness to pull a trailer and load equipment would be a huge plus. Health insurance reimbursement. We have modern trucks that we like to make each drivers own whether it be graphics, lights, chrome etc. Looking for a positive attitude and a desire to be a part of a growing team while leaving a great reputation behind. Duties Safely operate various trucks with manual transmissions and automatics, across assigned routes, ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations. Hauling from our various dirt and pipe jobs to various dump sites and quarries around the area. Load yourself using a quarry loader when an operator isn't at the quarry is a must. Pull a tag trailer while hauling equipment, securing and loading/unloading safely is a bonus. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and readiness for each journey. Maintain the truck you are assigned and we will add lights, chrome etc to your liking! Follow all safety protocols to ensure secure handling of freight and safe driving practices at all times. Return home nightly, with some jobs allowing truck to go home with you. Premium bonus if willing to go out of town for projects and stay out for the week but not mandatory. Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a valid Class A CDL license; familiarity with manual transmissions is preferred. Strong knowledge of pre inspections and able to fix minor issues. Skilled in operating a CDL truck safely on the roads Excellent route driving skills with the ability to adapt to changing schedules or road conditions. Ability to perform thorough vehicle inspections and maintain safety standards consistently. Effective communication skills for coordinating with our mechanic when the truck needs repair, foreseeing any future problem is a huge plus rather then the night of.
