Class A CDL Truck Driver

Local recycling and dunnage hauling company looking for experience Class A CDL drivers who can drive dry van trailers and flatbed trailers. The driver is responsible for delivering and removing trailers from customer locations and bringing them back to our plant. Safety, punctuality, and great customer service are all key for this position. $22.00 /hour to start (depending on experience) $500 sign on bonus

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Drop and hook of dry van trailers Load and unload flatbed trailers with forklift Report any accidents or injuries to Supervisors immediately. Perform vehicle inspection such as checking fluid level and tire pressure. Notify supervisors about any major repairs and maintenances. Follow local and state driving laws and road regulations. Maintain the vehicle clean and safe. Work with support team to provide exceptional customer services and address customer concerns. Perform vehicle inspection before and after each trip Adhere to company operating policies and procedures. Maintain driving log, prepare vehicle performance forms and complete daily paperwork Adhere to our company core values

Requirements:

CDL Class A License require At least 2 years of driving experience Knowledge of truck and equipment safety Knowledge of equipment cleaning standards and procedures Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner Client service and public interaction skills, team building, analytical and problem solving skills Decision making skills, effective verbal and listening communications skills Ability to read and write to record pickups and maintain daily records
