Class A Driver

Overview We are seeking a professional and reliable CDL Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, side loaders, front loaders, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. This role involves collecting refuse efficiently across designated routes while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. This position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team dedicated to collecting and delivering in a timely and safe manner. Responsibilities Operate a variety of commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, side loaders, front loaders, and roll-off trucks Safely collect and deliver refuse using appropriate equipment Execute route-specific collecting and delivering while adhering to scheduled timelines and safety protocols Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations Maintain accurate collection documentation and logs when unable to service Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during routes Ensure cargo is collected and secured properly during transit to prevent accidents Follow all traffic laws and company policies during operations Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is preferred Ability to follow GPS coordinates and work with electronic devices such as tablets, cell phones, etc. Experience handling various types of freight, collecting refuse, or working with roll-off containers Knowledge of safety procedures related to load & unload operations and vehicle maintenance Strong driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with DOT regulations Physical ability to climb a ladder, push totes, and perform vehicle inspections as required This role is vital for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics services while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

From $24.00 per hour
