Class A Driver/Laborer

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and versatile Class A Driver/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine skilled driving with hands-on labor tasks, contributing directly to the successful completion of construction projects. This position is essential in supporting heavy equipment operation, site preparation, and material transportation, ensuring smooth operations from start to finish. Duties Safely operate Class A trucks including front loader trucks and dump trucks to transport materials and equipment across job sites. Assist with the operation of heavy machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and other construction equipment to support excavation, grading, paving, and site development tasks. Perform labor duties including site cleanup, material handling, and assisting with paving and utility installation activities. Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. Support construction activities by locating utilities using specialized equipment and techniques to prevent damage during excavation. Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, equipment usage, and daily work activities for project documentation. Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed and work is completed efficiently. Skills Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and front loader trucks. Strong knowledge of construction site safety procedures and utility locating techniques. Ability to operate a Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) vehicle confidently and responsibly. Familiarity with paving processes and general construction practices. Skilled in the use of Caterpillar machinery or similar brands for various earthmoving tasks. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately. Physical stamina and agility to perform labor-intensive tasks in various weather conditions. $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
