Class A Local Driver- Night Shift

Job Overview Nagle is a family owned trucking company that has been in business since 1989. Our home office is in Walbridge, OH, where we have a full-service terminal and a fleet of 50 trucks. On the local side, we handle freight for ICE, First Solar, NSG, and Sun Chemical. We are currently hiring for a local position. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and the ability to manage routes effectively. Responsibilities Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven, mileage, and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered during transport. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL A) No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years No more than 2 at-fault accidents in the last 3 years Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience in the last 5 years Strong understanding of safety regulations related to truck driving and cargo transportation. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients Must be available for night shift and able to work 12 hour shifts What We Offer $26/hour ($1 night shift differential) Time and a half pay after 48 hours worked Daily home time Schedule will vary depending on the account you are assigned to, which is based on availability. You will not have the ability to choose your schedule unfortunately.
