The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting materials using tractor-trailers, strapping and chaining . This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to load and unload freight efficiently. Responsibilities Safely load and unload freight at designated locations. Follow assigned routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery times, and vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status. Assist with the proper handling of materials during loading and unloading processes. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required. •must have had CDL for at least 2 yrs. Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving. Familiarity with flat strapping and chaining Ability to load and unload freight safely and efficiently. Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and clients.
