• 3 days a week) About the Role The Class B CDL Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of materials along designated local and regional routes.

This role plays a critical part in daily operations by ensuring deliveries and pickups are completed in compliance with company standards and all federal, state, and local regulations. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to operate commercial vehicles in a variety of conditions. The driver will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, performing inspections, and communicating effectively with dispatch and operations teams. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring a high level of awareness and accountability. The employee is responsible for their own safety as well as the safety of others. Key Responsibilities Safely operate Class B commercial vehicles (e.g., straight trucks, box trucks, dump trucks, or vacuum trucks) Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and DOT compliance Transport materials to and from customer locations, job sites, or disposal facilities Load and unload materials as required, ensuring proper handling and securement Maintain accurate driver logs (ELD) and all required transportation documentation Communicate with dispatch regarding routes, delays, or delivery issues Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned equipment Provide professional and courteous service to customers and team members Minimum Qualifications Valid Class B Commercial Driver s License (CDL) Ability to meet DOT requirements , including medical certification Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Ability to operate commercial vehicles safely in various weather and road conditions Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical job duties as needed Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures Preferred Qualifications 1-2+ years of commercial driving experience Experience with dump trucks, roll-off trucks, vacuum trucks, or similar equipment Familiarity with ELD systems and transportation documentation Experience working in construction, waste, recycling, or logistics industries Work Environment & Schedule Full-time position with potential for overtime and weekend work Work performed outdoors in varying weather conditions May require early mornings, extended hours, or regional travel depending on route Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods while driving Ability to climb in and out of the vehicle multiple times per shift Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs Ability to work in environments with dust, odors, and varying temperatures What we offer: Mission-driven work in a rapidly growing sustainability company Opportunities for professional growth and learning Collaborative, values-driven team culture Competitive salary and benefits Why You ll Love Working at Denali
