Monday / Wednesday

/ Friday 7:30 am•3:30pm

Primary Responsibilities:

Adhere to all safety rules and regulations as required by law and as specified by the company. Efficiently and safely pick up and deliver parts and or nonproduction material. Ensure proper loading and unloading of parts/material. Ensure all documents related to inbound and outbound parts movement are properly completed and accurate when submitted. Complete Inspection Report on a daily basis and maintain log of daily trips. Ensure that vehicle maintenance is performed by the suggested maintenance schedule or as needs arise. Loading and unloading your vehicle at Progressive Metal's buildings when necessary (palled jack) Help the shipping team on the docks when necessary. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Shipping Supervisor.

Qualifications:

CDL Class B license Clean driving record Ability to safely operate a box truck or semi tractor Ability to lift 50 lbs Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time Ability to safely operate a forklift High school education Two or more years of experience driving a commercial truck with a clean driving record. Ability to pass a drug test

Working Conditions:

Manufacturing environment where personal protection equipment is required; steel toe shoes/boots, safety glasses and ear plugs.
