Duties Assist with auto body repairs, including dent removal, sanding, and surface preparation for vintage vehicles Perform MIG welding, soldering, and use of power tools to shape and repair sheet metal components Fabrication tasks such as cutting, bending, and fitting panels to restore authentic vehicle appearances Perform auto painting processes, including prep work and paint spraying to achieve high-quality finishes Contribute to auto restoration projects by assembling parts, detailing vehicles, and installing auto glass and trim Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety standards during heavy lifting and tool operation Auto estimating, and customer service tasks. Order supplies as needed for each job. Experience Dealership experience or background in automotive repair is a plus but not required; eagerness to learn is essential Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding (MIG preferred), and sheet metal work is advantageous Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance, auto body repair, and auto painting will support your growth Prior experience with auto restoration projects or working with classic cars is highly desirable Strong attention to detail combined with good communication skills will help you succeed in this hands-on role Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Enthusiasm for developing expertise in auto glass installation, soldering techniques, and auto estimating processes Embark on an exciting journey into the world of vintage car restoration!
