Job Summary Job Summary Substitute classified is an on-call as needed position. Substitutes may work in a variety of different positions depending on their work experience.

• TB clearance (Required upon hire) Classified Substitute is an on-call as needed position.

Essential Job Duties:

1. Ride a school bus or District transportation vehicle to provide safe and secure transportation for students with physical, educational and emotional needs. 2. Sanitize and clean; STAR seats, car seat, vehicle seat, for bodily fluids and or bloodborne pathogens. 3. Maintain order and discipline on bus as required; monitor student activities and assure compliance with bus safety procedures; notify bus driver of potential problems.

• 2 professional letters of recommendation dated within the past 12 months. These letters must be from a former or current Supervisor.

• Applications will be reviewed on an as-needed basis.

Selected candidates will be contacted to move forward to get fingerprinted for DOJ and FBI. Once candidates clear TB and fingerprints they will be invited to attend a mandatory orientation. Letter(s) of Recommendation (2 Professional recommendation letters dated within the past 12 months. These must be from former or current supervisors. ) Resume (Please ensure your resume lists any work experience related to the positions you are interested in subbing for.)
