Cleaner Maintenance

Position Summary:

Cleaner will be in charge of maintaining all areas to employer standards. Duties will include vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning, dusting, removing debris, emptying trash receptacles, replacing lining of trash cans, and bathroom services. Attention to detail and a positive attitude a must. The right person is punctual, thorough but fast, and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities :

Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas of the building. Performs minor repairs and maintenance such as replacing light fixtures. Assists in cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and cafeteria. Ensures cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked. Washes windows. Assists in examining building for safety hazards; reports deficiencies to lead custodian. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions. Detail-oriented and thorough. Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance. Ability to keep the building clean and orderly. Ability to interact with employees and visitors while remaining professional, polite, and courteous. High school diploma or equivalent preferred
