Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors to ensure a pristine environment. Conduct detailed sanitation procedures in kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas to meet health and safety standards. Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally during cleaning visits. Handle specialized cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, floor care (such as waxing or buffing), and upholstery cleaning to enhance space aesthetics. Maintain cleanliness of all equipment and supplies, restocking materials as needed to ensure readiness for ongoing tasks. Follow established safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment to promote a safe work environment. Experience Proven janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques. Experience in hotel housekeeping management or hospitality environments is highly desirable. Skilled in various cleaning methods including carpet cleaning, floor care, sanitation practices, and laundry operations. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use. Prior experience in customer service roles that require clear communication and professionalism. Familiarity with commercial cleaning tools such as vacuums, steam cleaners, buffers, and carpet extractors is preferred. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.
