Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Maintain detailed knowledge of cleaning procedures such as floor care, buffing, and custodial tasks to ensure optimal results Conduct routine janitorial duties like trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold hygiene standards Assist with facilities maintenance tasks when needed, including minor repairs or reporting larger issues to maintenance teams Use industrial cleaning equipment safely and effectively to handle specialized tasks such as carpet cleaning or floor buffing Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others Support additional duties such as residential painting or porter responsibilities to contribute to overall facility upkeep Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Experience with floor care techniques like buffing or stripping is highly desirable Familiarity with commercial cleaning standards and industrial cleaning procedures is a plus Previous work in facilities maintenance or porter roles will be considered an asset Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail Join us today and help create clean, safe spaces that make a difference every day!
