Duties Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools to maintain healthy lawns and gardens Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, edging, and mulching to enhance aesthetic appeal Use power tools and hand tools safely for tasks like tree trimming, shrub shaping, and soil preparation Assist with installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls using appropriate equipment like excavators and other construction tools Support irrigation system setup and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas Conduct snow plowing during winter months to keep driveways and pathways clear and safe Maintain equipment by performing regular inspections and basic mechanical repairs to ensure optimal performance Requirements Basic mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely Experience or interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture Familiarity with landscaping techniques including tree care, pruning, mowing, and hardscape installation Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for lifting and manual labor Knowledge of equipment such as excavators or other construction machinery is a plus but not required Strong attention to safety protocols when handling machinery and tools Excellent teamwork skills along with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in landscape maintenance This role offers an engaging environment where your skills can grow while contributing to beautiful outdoor spaces.
