MDI Cleaning Services is hiring reliable, detail-oriented cleaners for the busy 2026 season. We specialize in high-end residential, short-term rental, & commercial cleaning across Mount Desert Island. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent, flexible work in a fast-paced environment with competitive pay.

Position Details Pay:

$30 per hour

Mileage:

$1 per mile driven between job sites

Schedule:

Part-time & full-time (15-30 hours/week)

Seasonal:

Beginning late May through November (with potential for extended or year-round work)

Must be available on weekends What You'll Be Doing Residential cleaning (weekly/biweekly homes) Airbnb/vacation rental turnovers (resetting homes between guests) Commercial property cleaning (offices, museums, etc) Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, kitchens, and bathrooms Making beds and resetting linens Occasional laundry (on-site or off-site depending on job) Restocking basic supplies for guest-ready homes Working independently or as part of a team What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail Reliable and punctual Ability to work efficiently and stay on schedule Positive attitude and professionalism in clients' homes Comfortable working solo or with a partner Requirements Reliable transportation (travel between job sites required) Ability to lift 20-30 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods Must be willing to undergo a background check Prior cleaning experience necessary What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Mileage reimbursement between jobs Consistent scheduling during peak season Supportive team environment Opportunity for growth into lead cleaner roles If you're dependable, hardworking, and take pride in your work, we'd love to hear from you.
