As a Clerical Assistant 2 with the Bucks County Assistance Office, you will play an important part in helping residents receive the support they need. This role supports the daily operations of the office through careful record handling, computer-based tasks, and direct interaction with visitors. It is an important part of ensuring that information is processed correctly and shared with the right people. As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will perform the following duties:Scanning Tasks:
Scan documents, categorize electronic images, modify image sets, and issue receipts when neededEquipment Care:
Clean scanners and multiple function devices according to instructionsData Entry:
Input information into automated systems such as the Client Information System (CIS) and MapperVisitor Assistance:
Greet visitors, gather needed information, and direct them appropriatelySorting Work:
Review, sort, and distribute mail, printouts, logs, and case messagesRecord Filing:

Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week. Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday with a 1-hour lunch. Travel and overtime as needed. Free parking available at this facility. Assigned duties are performed in a controlled office environment. In counties with District Offices, employees may be reassigned to different work sites due to operational needs. Reassignments will be made in compliance with contract language.Telework:
This position may be eligible to telework part time. Specific details of the telework schedule will be discussed during the interview process. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Bristol, PA. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.Salary:
Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting salary of $36,108 (before taxes). Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:
