Process vehicle registrations, renewals, temporary tags, and license plate transactions Issue and renew Ohio driver licenses and state identification cards Verify legal documents including proof of identity, residency, Social Security information, etc Process vehicle titles, transfers, and notary-related paperwork Collect state fees, taxes, and payments while balancing cash drawers accurately Operate Ohio BMV computer systems for customer records and transaction processing Explain Ohio motor vehicle laws, registration requirements, and licensing procedures to customers Assist customers with reinstatement requirements, suspensions, and compliance documentation Review applications for accuracy and completeness to ensure compliance with Ohio regulations Maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer information Handle high-volume customer traffic while providing professional customer service Resolve customer concerns and difficult situations calmly and efficiently Prepare daily transaction reports and reconcile financial records Maintain organized filing systems and accurate state records Follow Ohio BMV security, fraud prevention, and identity verification procedures
