What You'll Be Doing:
You'll be the welcoming face and listening ear, getting patients ready for their appointments, taking their vitals. You'll be assisting our amazing providers with exams, procedures, and making sure everything runs smooth. You'll be administering injections, immunizations, and other medications, making sure our patients are feeling their best. You'll be collecting and processing specimens with precision, because every little detail matters. You'll be diving into our electronic inbox, expertly triaging messages, processing prescription refills, routing patient questions, and generally making sure no digital stone is left unturned. Answering patient calls, providing education, and offering support with a compassionate and helpful demeanor, whether it's face-to-face or virtually.- CHI Health requires that ALL Medical Assistants must be a graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)
Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP) Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart AssociationSimilar remote jobs
