Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Director to lead our behavioral health and clinical services team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality patient care, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and foster a collaborative environment focused on innovative treatment approaches. Your leadership will drive excellence in clinical practices, support staff development, and promote a patient-centered culture that emphasizes compassionate care and clinical integrity. Responsibilities Provide clinical oversight for all treatment programs, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards such as HIPAA and medical documentation requirements. Supervise and mentor multidisciplinary teams including therapists, counselors, case managers, and support staff to maintain high standards of patient care. Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical protocols utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and crisis intervention strategies. Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Oversee group therapy sessions, child & family counseling, and specialized programs for individuals with autism or developmental disabilities. Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis management techniques, crisis intervention protocols, and PTSD care strategies. Ensure accurate medical records management, documentation compliance with
ICD-10/ICD-9
coding standards, CPT coding procedures, and data collection for clinical research initiatives. Skills Extensive experience in behavioral health Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), HIPAA regulations, and electronic health records systems. Demonstrated expertise in crisis intervention techniques, case management strategies, and diagnostic evaluation processes. Skilled in applying therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), and other evidence-based treatments for diverse populations. Ability to lead clinical research projects while maintaining compliance with healthcare standards; experience with hospital settings is a plus. Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams, families, community partners.
