GENERAL DESCRIPTION
OrthoNY is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team. This critical role acts as the go-to person for staff in the clinical area and serves as a backup to the Site Operations Manager. The Clinical Lead will act as a lead for clinical operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient outcomes in our urgent care department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily: Provide clinical leadership and direction to the urgent care team, ensuring adherence to best practices and clinical guidelines; Lead by example, delivering high-quality orthopaedic care and customer service to patients; Act as the primary point of contact for staff and providers regarding clinical questions and issues; Foster a collaborative and supportive environment for clinical staff, promoting continuous learning and professional development; Collaborate closely with the Site Operations Manager to manage scheduling and oversee inventory supply orders, ensuring efficient workflow; Assist with new hire training as needed; Provide mentorship and support to clinical staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork; Carry out other duties as needed;
QUALIFICATIONS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability to perform the essential functions: The ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and demands; Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical setting; 3 years preferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. CPR certification preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
OTHER INFORMATION
Ability to travel to various OrthoNY locations if needed. Reliable transportation is essential.
