Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Duties should be action oriented and avoid vague or general statements. % of Time (annually) Provider Support Develop and maintain provider schedules (daily, weekly, monthly), factoring in time-off requests, meetings, and clinic needs. Ensure provider schedules are optimized to prevent conflicts with appointments, time off requests, or meetings. Coordinate nursing staff assignments to appropriate nurse coverage. Track and manage PTO requests, CME requests, education, licensure tracking, and licensure requirements; communicate updates to providers and management. Assist clinic manager and clinic administration in addressing staffing shortages. Maintain accurate schedules, absences, tardiness, and attendance; and timecard verification Collaborate closely with the Credentialing Specialist and Payor Enrollment teams to ensure the seamless onboarding and integration of new providers. 70 % Clinical Operations and Quality Support Timecard review for RHC staff Run and analyze clinic data reports to support workflow, quality improvement, and operational decisions. Assist with quality initiatives, chart audits, and process improvement projects. Track and reconcile provider-related expenses and support timecard review as needed. Answer patient calls and triage as appropriate. Room patients and assist with basic nursing duties, when necessary, with minimal direct patient care responsibility.   • Demonstrates Clarke County Hospital Standards of Behaviors as well as adheres to hospital policies and procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Demonstrates ability to meet business needs of department with regular, reliable attendance.
  • Employee maintains current licenses and/or certifications required for the position.
  • Practices and reflects knowledge of HIPAA, DIA, DNV, OSHA and other federal/state regulatory agencies guiding healthcare.
  • Completes all annual education and competency requirements within the calendar year.
  • Is knowledgeable of hospital and department compliance requirements for federally funded healthcare programs (e.
g. Medicare and Medicaid) regarding fraud, waste and abuse. Brings any questions or concerns regarding compliance to the immediate attention of hospital administrative staff. Takes appropriate action on concerns reported by department staff related to compliance.
