EMR:

Cerner This contract position requires a licensed clinical pharmacist with recent inpatient experience (within the last 3 years) to oversee and deliver inpatient pharmaceutical services. Reporting to the Pharmaceutical Services Director, you will manage drug procurement, distribution, storage, and administration to ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations at the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee inpatient pharmacy operations to maintain efficiency and regulatory adherence Review all medication orders for accuracy, safety, and appropriateness Verify patients' home medications prior to hospital use Maintain pharmacy inventory, crash carts, specialty boxes, and compliance documentation Provide drug information and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication use Maintain Pharmacy Services Policy and Procedure Manual to reflect regulatory updates Assist with pharmacy licensure and compliance issues Serve as Pharmacist in Charge and provide weekend emergency retail pharmacy coverage Respond as the on-call pharmacist during assigned shifts Complete administrative tasks including procurement records, billing, and reporting

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Current pharmacist license with inpatient clinical pharmacy experience within the last 3 years Familiarity with Cerner EMR system Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations and hospital pharmacy operations Take advantage of this opportunity to apply your clinical expertise in a dynamic hospital environment on a 13-week contract.
