$135,000/year Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to support hospital pharmacy operations and provide high-quality pharmaceutical care. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical pharmacy experience and the ability to work effectively in a hospital setting while ensuring safe and accurate medication dispensing. Key Responsibilities Dispense medications and pharmaceutical supplies in accordance with department policies Review medication orders for accuracy, safety, and effectiveness Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams regarding medication therapy Monitor patient medication regimens and provide clinical recommendations Ensure compliance with hospital policies and state pharmacy regulations Maintain accurate medication records and documentation Support safe medication practices and patient care initiatives Qualifications Active Pharmacist license in New York State required Minimum 2-3 years of clinical pharmacy experience required Hospital pharmacy experience required Strong knowledge of medication management and clinical pharmacy practices Excellent communication and critical thinking skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment Education Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent pharmacy degree from an accredited institution Benefits Competitive annual salary Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Supportive and collaborative work environment Career growth opportunities Why Saranac Lake, NY?
