Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract An inpatient clinical pharmacist role is available for a 13-week contract starting June 8, supporting a hospital setting with a strong focus on acute care pharmacy services. This position involves a rotating schedule of five 8-hour shifts weekly, alternating between day shifts (6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) and evening shifts (2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.), including rotation every third weekend.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage inpatient medication therapy with a focus on pharmacotherapeutic needs for various medical conditions Perform pharmacokinetic and renal dosing adjustments Monitor therapeutic medications for efficacy and safety Participate in drug shortage management and ensure optimal use of available medications Collaborate with healthcare teams using the EPIC electronic medical record system

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum of 2 years recent inpatient or acute care pharmacy experience required Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacokinetic dosing and therapeutic medication monitoring Experience with renal dosing and managing drug shortages in a hospital setting Valid Wisconsin pharmacy license; ACT-10 licensure is acceptable
