Key qualifications include:

Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or holding a Professional Educator License with a School Nurse Endorsement (SN), or a Certified School Nurse (CSN) Demonstrated experience in elementary or middle school environments Prior success in addressing the medical needs of children Familiarity with the requirements and significance of individualized education programs (IEPs) Understanding of a public school's role in both community and economic growth Strong skills in interpersonal communication and collaboration Ability to adapt quickly, multitask, and contribute both independently and as part of a dynamic team Interest in, or willingness to learn, play-based evaluation approaches Main responsibilities involve: Providing preventive health services, interventions, and first aid to students and staff Assessing and addressing student medical needs throughout the school day Participating actively in IEP meetings and completing related documentation Collaborating with educators, families, and outside providers to support student success Maintaining accurate health records and ensuring compliance with state and district protocols Educating students and staff on health-related topics as needed Bring your clinical expertise and commitment to student well-being to a role that values your contribution.
