Position Overview Apex Skin and Apex Clinical Research Center Team is a rapidly growing skincare facility that empowers employees to deliver exceptional patient experiences. We are currently looking for a talented candidate for the role of Clinical Research Registered Nurse. The Clinical Research Registered Nurse is responsible for various tasks associated with clinical study coordination. This position requires legal authorization to work in the US. (Subject to change)Essential Functions:
Dispense and/or prepare Investigational Products (IP) as part of clinical research trials Ensure compliance with study-specific blinding plans Maintain documentation of IP accountability: receipt, dispensing, return to sponsor/destruction Understand and apply all applicable site procedures Review protocols and provide input on clinical and pharmacy supply needs Meet with sponsors, monitors, auditors, and regulatory authorities to review drug accountability and other study-specific information Temperature reporting Develops and maintains knowledge of research protocol to coordinate the comprehensive and compliant execution of assigned protocols.Complexity of Work:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Certifications/ Required:
Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN). Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be presented upon hire. CCRC or equivalent, preferred.Preferred:
Minimum four years clinical experience and/or two years research experience. Infusion skills Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN preferred. Must have strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision at offsite facilities. Displays a thorough understanding of the research process and terminology. Exhibits a working knowledge of federal regulations and good clinical practice (GCP). Meets clinical competency requirements. Within 90 days of hire, must successfully complete certification in Human Subjects Research. Continually demonstrates competency with defined requirements for the position as established by Apex Clinical Research Center Physical Requirements & Work Environment Prolonged periods of sitting with periodic standing and walking Frequent use of hands and fingers for documentation, computer entry, and clinical procedures Ability to lift and transport up to 30 pounds Visual acuity sufficient to review medical records, lab data, and electronic systems Work is performed in a clinical research environment with direct patient interaction Exposure to biological specimens, laboratory equipment, and clinical testing materials Requires strict adherence to IRB, GCP, HIPAA, OSHA, and Apex safety standards May require multitasking in a deadline-driven research setting Apex Skin Culture Apex Skin fosters a collaborative, patient-first environment built on compassion, clinical excellence, and teamwork.
