Job Description

Qualifications  Carries a client caseload as assigned. Responsible for determining the client's strengths/weaknesses and needs to assist clients in developing a treatment plan within 7 days of admission.  Monitors and documents assigned client's progress toward the treatment plan.  Provides alcohol and drug education in counseling sessions.  Must keep client records up-to-date.  Responsible for assuring that assigned clients are given random urinalysis according to State and Federal guidelines.  Performs other duties as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor.  Responsible for client confidentiality as regulated by Federal guidelines.  Conduct Intake Assessments.  Attend weekly supervision meetings and any other supervision that is required. Full-time and Part-time hours available - non virtual position Locations in: Baltimore County (Parkville, Dundalk) The office is open Monday-Friday, 9 am-5 pm. Options exist for contractual and both full and part-time. Two office locations to choose from, both within 30 minutes of Baltimore. Salary will be based upon experience and the number of hours worked. Benefits will be offered to full-time candidates. Requirements  All staff employed as alcohol and drug counselors shall, at a minimum be:  Licensed or certified as an alcohol and drug counselors by the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists; Approved by the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists; or Licensed, certified, or permitted under the Health Occupations Article, Annotated Code of Maryland to provide substance abuse treatment.
