Demonstrate good oral and written communication. Maintain a supportive and encouraging working relationship with supervisors, leaders, and clients. Must have basic computer skills. Demonstrate a non-judgmental and non-biased disposition towards clients. Be able to provide a structured environment within the facility.Job Responsibilities:
Complete and maintain accurate records or reports regarding the clients' histories and progress, services provided, or other required information. Write reports or evaluations and enter them into the Kipu system. Maintain client records. Counsel clients, individually or in group sessions, to assist in overcoming substance abuse dependencies, adjusting to life, and making changes. Interview clients, review records, and confer with other professionals to evaluate individuals' mental and physical condition and to determine their suitability for participation in a specific Residential/IOP/OP/SOP or After Care program. Develop client treatment plans based on research, clinical experience, and client histories. Review and evaluate clients' progress in relation to measurable goals described in treatment and care plans. Monitor clients to evaluate treatment progress. Intervene as an advocate for clients to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations. Intervene in crisis situations to assist clients. Provide clients or family members with information about addiction issues and about available services or programs, making appropriate referrals when necessary. Refer clients to community or social service programs. Act as liaisons between clients and medical staff. Advocate for individual or community needs. Counsel family members to assist them in understanding, dealing with, and supporting clients. Confer with family members or others close to clients to keep them informed of treatment planning and progress. Conduct Individual, Group, and Collateral services to clients of SPARC Recovery. Ensures timely completion of all required documentation for medical records and billing purposes. Communicates with managed care case review staff and other third-party payers for coordination and authorization of treatment as needed. Consults as needed with administrative and/or clinical supervisors regarding clinical issues, policy, and procedures.Similar remote jobs
