CLINICAL THERAPIST

in the Department of Family Services. This position provides individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based interventions and empowers clients to overcome challenges and achieve lasting positive change. Some info about the position… Conducts comprehensive psychosocial assessments and diagnoses of clients' mental health needs. Develops and implements individualized treatment plans based on clients' unique needs and goals. Facilitates individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based interventions. Maintains accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborates with other professionals to ensure seamless, holistic care for clients. Regularly reviews treatment goals and progress with clients, identifying additional resources and facilitating referrals as needed. Demonstrates cultural sensitivity in all client , stakeholder, and employee interactions. Stays current with best practices and evidence-based models in the field of mental health. Maintains flexibility to adjust schedule as needed to accommodate appointment demand, including evenings and weekends. Attends mandatory staff meetings, trainings and other required meetings. Performs other duties as assigned, supporting the vision and mission of the organization. Qualified candidates should… Hold a Master's degree in Social Work , Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. Possess an advanced clinical license in the state of Illinois (LCSW or LCPC). Have a minimum of two (2) years of professional experience providing mental health counseling services, including delivering trauma-informed interventions to children and adults. Demonstrated proficiency in clinical diagnostics with thorough knowledge of the DSM-5, evidence-based therapeutic practices, and proven experience working in a clinical setting. Possess a comprehensive understanding of HIPAA regulations, confidentiality protocols, and ethical standards as outlined by the applicable licensing Code of Ethics. Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting rapport with a diverse client population. Works both independently and collaboratively, and is able to interact with peers and address workplace challenges and conflict in a professional manner. Have experience utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems. Possess a valid State of Illinois driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and/or Polish is preferred. Pay, benefits, and more… Salary range is $84,373.00 - $118,121.00 per year (starting salary is typically no higher than the midpoint and is dependent on qualifications). Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with evening and weekend hours. The schedule is determined by the waitlist and the client's needs. Paid leave. Health insurance.
