This role models professional nursing practice and supports team development and performance. Under the direction of the Unit Director or department manager, the Clinician oversees staff performance, including conducting evaluations, supporting hiring and selection processes, and managing the day-to-day activities of direct reports. The role also provides clinical expertise and service-based education, including staff orientation, training, consultation on practice issues, and coordination of clinical activities. The Clinician may also assume shift accountability for patient care delivery as needed. Title and salary will be determined based on education and nursing experience

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

+ Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in practicing state. + National Certification preferred. + CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire + Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) + Registered Nurse (RN) + Act 33 with renewal + Act 34 with renewal + Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal

• Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state.
