Maintenance Planner & Scheduler (GMP | Build-Focused Role) 019277 - Wilson, NC 27893 Apply Apply Description Allegiance Industries is seeking a Maintenance Planner & Scheduler to build and establish a high-performingCMMS/SAP
maintenance program within a regulated pharmaceutical environment. This is not a maintenance role focused on sustaining existing systems. This role is for a builder someone who has experience developing, structuring, or transformingCMMS/EAM
environments and can create a scalable, data-driven maintenance program from the ground up. The selected candidate will play a critical role in shaping maintenance execution, asset reliability, and long-term compliance. Key Responsibilities Own and manage the full work order lifecycle (creation, planning, scheduling, execution, and closure) withinSAP PM / EAM
systems Build and standardize maintenance planning and scheduling processes Develop structured work packages including labor, materials, safety, and procedures Establish and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs for critical assets Configure and maintain accurate asset hierarchies, metadata, and equipment records within CMMS Drive data integrity across work orders, asset records, and inventory systems Develop and track key performance indicators (PM compliance, backlog, downtime, schedule adherence) Create dashboards and reports to support maintenance and leadership decision-making Manage spare parts inventory strategy, including min/max levels, BOMs, and procurement coordination Partner with Operations, Production, Quality, and Engineering to align maintenance schedules with business needs Identify system gaps and implement process and system improvements Train and support CMMS users, ensuring adoption of standardized workflows Ensure all maintenance activities meet GMP and regulatory compliance standards Support audits with accurate, complete, and traceable maintenance documentation Qualifications 3+ years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in manufacturing or facilities environments Hands-on experience withCMMS/EAM
systems (SAP PM, Infor EAM, Oracle EAM, or similar) Proven experience improving, restructuring, or building maintenance programs or CMMS systems Strong understanding of work order management, PM programs, and maintenance workflows Experience working in regulated environments (pharmaceutical, biotech, or similar preferred) Knowledge of inventory management, spare parts control, and procurement processes Technical SkillsCMMS/EAM
SAP PM, Infor EAM, Oracle EAM Data & Reporting:
Power BI or similar tools Strong data analysis and problem-solving capabilities Experience with maintenance KPIs and performance tracking Preferred Qualifications Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) Experience with predictive maintenance strategies Experience supporting CMMS implementations or system enhancements Familiarity with data tools (SQL, Python, or similar) is a plus What We're Looking For A builder mindset - someone who creates structure, not just follows it Strong attention to detail and ownership of data accuracy Ability to work both on the floor with technicians and with leadership teams Comfortable driving change and improving existing processes Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Why This Role Matters This role is foundational to the success of the operation.
