$25.00 + Shift Differential ________________________________________ The Opportunity Join our team as a CNA Float, where you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across various departments. In this dynamic role, you'll provide essential care and support to patients, adapting to different units as needed. Your flexibility and compassion will help ensure a high standard of patient care throughout our facility. Job Responsibilities Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and medical staff. Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse rate. Assist in patient mobility and positioning, including transferring patients from beds to wheelchairs. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols. Assist with collecting specimens, such as urine or stool samples, as required. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner in electronic medical records. Respond to patient call lights and requests promptly to ensure patient comfort and safety. Support nursing staff in various units as needed, adapting quickly to different healthcare settings. Participate in ongoing education and training sessions to stay current with healthcare practices. Report any changes in patients' conditions or behaviors to the nursing staff immediately. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of equipment and supplies in patient areas. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care across various departments. Job Requirements Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from an accredited program. Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum of 1-year experience as a CNA in a healthcare setting. Flexibility to work in various departments and shifts, including nights and weekends. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Competitive starting wage and full benefit package for Staff that work a scheduled shift of 60 hours biweekly or more.- Health
